Unity Series: Together in Unity – Psalm 133
There is something heaven calls beautiful that earth rarely sustains: a people dwelling together in true unity, not by fleshly effort, but by the gracious power of God. In this message, we will behold the holy beauty of a unity that consecrates like precious oil, refreshes like dew from above, and bears the unmistakable mark of the Spirit’s life among God’s people. And as we gather around the heart of Christ, we will see that where He forms this kind of oneness, He commands His blessing—life, fullness, and gospel hope for the road ahead.
Romans Series: The Judge and His Law (part 1) – Romans 2:1-8
The Word of God is about to strip away every refuge of self-righteousness, exposing the heart that condemns others while standing guilty before the same holy Judge. We are going to feel the weight of a God whose justice is perfectly impartial, whose patience has been deeply misunderstood, and whose verdict no man can escape by morality, religion, or outward form. And yet through all the gathering thunder, the gospel still shines—because the same truth that humbles us to the dust also prepares us to run to Christ, our only hope.
Romans Series: Unbelief & Its Consequences (part 1) – Romans 1:18 – 32
In this message from Romans 1, we confront the sobering reality of unbelief and the weight of its consequences. Paul shows that God has made Himself clearly known, yet humanity suppresses the truth, exchanges His glory for lesser things, and stands under His righteous wrath. But even in the bad news, we are driven to see the beauty and urgency of the gospel—the only hope for life, salvation, and reconciliation with God.
Resurrection Sunday: From the Grave to the Sky – The Light of Christ
Into the bleakness of humanity’s darkest hour, the risen Jesus breaks forth as the Light of Life, conquering the grave and awakening hearts that had been buried in sorrow, fear, and despair. He stands in resurrection power as the Light of His Authority, calling the wandering, restoring the fallen, and setting His people again on the path of faith, purpose, and obedience. And as He ascends in the Light of His Glory, He lifts our eyes beyond the tomb and beyond the trial, giving us a living hope that the One who rose, reigns—and is surely coming again.
Romans Series: The Gospel Exalted – Romans 1:16,17
Paul’s declaration rings out with bold conviction—he is unashamed of the Gospel because it is no mere idea, but the very power of God that brings salvation to broken humanity.
This Gospel reaches with stunning scope to all who believe, revealing a righteousness not earned by human effort but given by God and received through faith from beginning to end.
So the call resounds to every heart: examine your disposition, behold its power, embrace its reach, and live by faith in the life-transforming truth of the Gospel.
Acts Series: Keep Up Your Courage (pm) – Acts 27; Mark 4:35-5:1
When the storm will not stop and every human lifeboat is calling your name, this message presses us into the holy place where faith cuts the ropes and learns to stand on nothing but the Word of God. We are going to watch Jesus speak into chaos with a voice creation cannot resist, and feel the sharp, searching weight of His call to trust Him in the middle of what looks impossible. And through it all, the gospel lifts before us a sure horizon on the other side of the waves: Christ Himself, faithful to His promise, bringing His people safely home.
Acts Series: Keep Up Your Courage (am) – Acts 27
Keep up your courage—because the God who speaks a promise does not lose sight of His people when the winds turn contrary and the voyage grows dark. In this message, we will sail from the first uneasy steps into the storm’s fiercest fury, watch courage rise in the middle of despair, and see how one man standing on the Word of God can steady an entire ship. And when all seems lost, we will come ashore with this sure hope: in the storms of life, the promises of God still hold, and His gospel grace will bring His people safely through.
PLBF Life Vision Series: Service – Who and How? (part 2) – Mark 12:29-31
The One who once ruled over us in death has been overthrown by the Master of the living, and now a better Lord stands before us, worthy of everything we are. This message will lead us down the path where true service always goes—through surrender, through weakness, through the cross—until we see that what God requires, He Himself supplies. And there, in the strength of Christ and the hope of His gospel, we will glimpse both the blessing of serving Him now and the glory of being with Him where He is.
PLBF Life Vision Series: Loving God With All Our Mind – The Word – 21/1/24 (PM)
Having rehearsed the deviation of humanity off the foundation of God’s Word from the Garden to the wilderness, we turn our eyes to the one who exemplified perfect obedience to the Word. It is in the life of Christ that we observe one who perfectly lived according to the Word of God. His life serves as our model of one who is a disciple of the truth in the face of relentless opposition.
PLBF Life Vision Series: The Foundation of the Word – 21/1/24 (AM)
To love the Lord our God with all of our mind, our lives must be built on His Word. In setting the mission and direction of our lives and the Church, we must be set ourselves on God and what He spoke. It is there that we find the Rock that is higher than us. Let us not be moved from this certainty.
